瑪格麗特顯然沒有接受過這樣的麵試，略略遲疑一下，看看裏查得，見他在微笑，隻好在指定地方坐下，調試幾下打字機，紮好架勢。
麥基站起身，閉上眼睛，在屋子裏來回走動，邊走邊陳述。
瑪格麗特飛快地敲打鍵盤。
時間過得飛快，不知不覺中，瑪格麗特已經換過好幾張打字紙了。
麥基終於停住腳步，走到瑪格麗特跟前，拍拍她的肩膀：“You did a good job as a typist！（你的打字工作做得不錯。）”
“Thank you，sir！（謝謝先生！）”
